The conference will bring together around 650 participants from around the world including:

• Representatives of member cities of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities

• Representatives of UNESCO Member States (e.g. representatives of other cities, representatives of National Commissions for UNESCO, government representatives or experts); and

• Representatives of international organizations, non-governmental organizations and private-sector partners, as well as experts in the field of education and lifelong learning

Cities and Member States are encouraged to consider the need for gender balance and the participation of women in their delegations.

The conference will be conducted in English, French and Spanish (with simultaneous interpretation)
